Creating Sustainable Gardens That Thrive
At Green & Eco Gardens, we believe that great landscaping starts with understanding plants. Not just knowing their names, but really understanding what they need, where they flourish, and how they work together to create vibrant, living spaces. They literally breathe life into your garden.
Plants are the heart of every garden we create. We take time to select species that are perfectly suited to your soil, aspect, and local climate. This isn't just about aesthetics – when plants are in their ideal environment, they grow stronger, need less maintenance, and create ecosystems that support local wildlife.
We champion native and well-adapted species that have evolved to thrive in our conditions. These plants require less water, fewer interventions, and provide essential habitats for pollinators and wildlife. The result? Gardens that are beautiful, resilient, and kind to the planet.
Garden Builds That Makes Sense
Sustainability isn't a buzzword for us – it's how we work. We build gardens that work with nature, not against it, creating havens for wildlife, bees and insects. Our approach considers putting soil health first as healthy soil means healthy plants. We are huge believers in mulching every year, as much as possible, which not only feeds the soil but also helps water retention.
We understand that this is your garden and you are the person who has to look at it all year round! Therefore it is important to have seasonal interest with as many long flowering perennials as possible. We have our favourites but its got to be the right plant for the right place and at the right price.
We won’t use foreign hardwoods, choosing British timber instead and we will always choose sustainable materials for our projects every time over things like porcelain and artificial grass.
Why Work With Us?
Quality and reputation is immensely important to us and we know that every project is a representation of our work and ethos. Our founder Kenn has worked on many different types of projects over the years, from bespoke children' play areas to contemporary patios for dining and outdoor living. In fact some of his previous work is still winning awards with a project designed and delivered in 2020 winning Ideal Homes Garden of The Year 2024!
But most importantly the environment is top of our priority list and that should be good enough for you to at least get in touch and then take it from there,You may be a keen gardener in need of some kitchen beds or you may just want to inject some life into your tired garden with some new plants. Whatever you need we can help you realise your garden’s true potential with minimum impact on the environment.
